“Overall…I really enjoyed the book and I’m looking forward to reading the second one. I really liked that the battles and challenges the main characters have are met with logic and intellect, and that the characters retain that trait through the entire book. Also, where some authors would throw in irritating twists, Jennifer’s twists are intelligently placed. I found that refreshing and it encourages me to continue reading future novels by this author. There were only a few minor things I feel could have been left out to keep the flow, but those are probably just my preference while others might like the extra imagery that they create. Still…it deserves a 5 star rating. I look forward to reading the next one.”

“A fascinating premise with a promising storyline. This novel kept me reading through the last page. The cliffhanger the author leaves off with simply begs the reader to continue on to book 2. The heat within is a bit more than I typically like, but the overall concept for the story makes up for it. Some of the writing got a little repetitive, but as a first novel I’m confident that will get better with subsequent books in the series. It’s an easy thing to overlook as the storyline is so well thought out and developed. I expect other books by this author will simply continue to get better and better.”
